I'm soooo pleased with the results of this quilt. I saw the quilt hanging in Houston last Fall and just had to have the pattern. Although I thought it was a queen anne's lace flower, I looked closely at the label and saw it was a dandelion. I didn't buy the pattern right away, but sure thought about it the week I was in Houston. I finally went back to the booth and purchased it. It is an original design by Janeen Scott. She is from Australia.
I have taken many pictures of dandelions in the hope of making a dandelion quilt. I just couldn't transition them well to fabric. This quilt depicts dandelions very differently than I would have thought to do. I also had fun quilting it and although I had a lot of angst when I began the quilting, I finished it before I knew it. Hope you like it.
