Word of the Month - Fear

When I learned of the word for this month, I had to sit and think long and hard about what makes me fearful. Jumping out of an airplane was the first to come to mind. Since fear has never allowed me to do that, I thought of the time when I took my first jump off the high diving board at our local swimming pool. The intent of this quilt was to depict that. However, it can be whatever you want it to be....jumping out of the airplane, surfing the tallest wave, or stepping off the bridge strapped to a bungie cord. When I showed to members of my playgroup, they said it looked like I forgot to add the weight scale! That's what is fun about being a member of this wonderful Play Group. What do you see?

I really like this. A great interpretation for the theme.

The leader of the challenge said these little projects should take more than 2 hours to complete. Wrong!!!! I spend days coming up with an idea and many hours putting the idea to cloth! Glad you like this and thanks for all of your comments!
