I was able to steal some studio time yesterday. I worked on the 2nd of three art quilts for Doris from her husband's ties. I learned that Doris and Gerry went on a safari and when Gerry sees the zebra tie, he recalls that unforgettable trip. So with the ties that Doris specified be used for this art quilt and a few fabrics from my stash I came up with "Safari". It isn't finished yet but I hope I was able to capture a memory of that trip for Doris.
