"Lighthorse" Harry Lee

We finished Andrew's Virginia History project on Sunday. It was pretty rainy Monday morning to get a picture, but I did manage to get this picture after the rain clouds subsided for a few minutes. He isn't due until Wednesday, but since Andrew was finished with this doll and the report, he decided to turn it in early. I think Harry turned out pretty well considering this is just the second doll Andrew has made (he did a Corn Husk doll a few weeks ago) and the first one in a long time that I made.

Tomorrow, I'll be off with friends for a few days to the AQS Quilt Show in Lancaster, Pa. I'll be taking a class on curved piecing and attending a Karen K. Stone lecture in between vendor shopping, quilt viewing, and visiting with friends. I'm looking forward to having a great time. Soooo that means no posting here before Sunday. See you next week. Hugs....
