Seems like I've been spending my time at the baseball fields with my grandson since last Spring. Since he plays travel baseball and Little League, that's probably an accurate statement. The season came to an end two weekends ago. My husband suggested I take some time off and go see my sister. So I did. Even though it was a quick trip, it revitalized me and was a very relaxing trip. This was the view of the beach sky shortly before sunset. It was a little chilly, but it was quiet and peaceful.
I found a number of shells that will serve as inspiration for future art quilt. It's amazing the patterns even the broken shells still managed to display. Pictures will come soon.
P.S. I would have posted this sooner but had great difficulty figuring out how to get the pictures rotated in the right direction. If you read my Facebook entry, you will see my failed attempt to post one of these pictures.
