"Rolling Along"

While at the Mid Atlantic Quilt show in February, I took a class with Jo Diggs. Jo does applique scenic landscape art quilts and you can see more on her website: http://jodiggs.com/jodiggs/Meet_the_Artist.html The class was great fun and lots of budding artists in class had fantastic results using Jo's methods of arranging fabric into wonderful landscapes.

I finally finished my piece yesterday. I don't know why it took me so long to do it. I guess everyday living just got in the way. Anyway, here it is:

I see where there's room for improvement and hopefully, I'll address those flaws with my next piece. And, yes, it is ALL HAND APPLIQUED, except for the border! I hope everyone is having a good day!
