Frost on the Pumpkin?

Or are they just leaves?
I finished my latest piece using Tyvek (the leaves) and am pleased with the results. I don't know where people think up the various ways to add texture to art quilts, but I'm glad they do.

Here is the creature that lives at my house. (Do any family members recognize the shirt?) We had a wonderful halloween this year and received more treats than tricks. Thanks, Tom and Kerry.

We are headed to the final weekend of fall baseball this weekend. Andrews 10U team will be playing in a tournament in my old stomping grounds--Nokesville, VA. They are scheduled to play two games on Saturday and one or more on Sunday. Gives me shivers just thinking about sitting outside for more than four hours on Saturday. The temps have been in the low 50s this week. Brrrr...... Bring out the Hot Chocolate and Chili!!!

KAthy, I love this! I just found out about using Tyvek with a class from Nancy DiDonato and was amazed. It's still on my to do list but I really appreciate your leaves on this hanging. Well done.

Thanks, Jane. Once you start using Tyvek, you will find all kinds of uses for it, as you probably already know. Post some pics on your blog when you have something to show.
