Two snowstorms have come and gone here in the past week and I have yet to post any pictures here. We are in the middle of yet another storm and hopefully we won't have a repeat of what happened over the weekend.
I did go out yesterday to see if I could find a Camper stove and propane for it. I wanted to be better prepared if we lost power again. I got the last stove Walmart had on the shelf. I don't normally shop at Walmart, but I thought my chances were better that I would find a stove, fuel, milk, bread, and canned goods and making one stop to get it all. I thanked every employee I saw for coming to work yesterday. I found one particularly helpful staff member whose name I think was "Eric". He helped me locate the correct propane tank for the stove and even opened the stove box to make sure I had the right cannister and would fit the stove. He even took me from the camping gear section (where the propane had been sold out) over to the tool section where we found plenty of larger "big boy" tanks that are used to solder. What a guy.....I'll have to write to Walmart about this employee who went the extra mile for me!
Thanks to all of the Electric company, phone company, cable company, snow plow operators, etc, who all managed to get to work during this past week. WE APPRECIATE YOU!!!!
