HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

It's not only Valentine's Day, but my wedding anniversary, as well. Seems like it was just yesterday (instead of 29 years ago)that we stood in front of the JP exchanging vows.

We still have 18-20" of snow on the ground and another storm looms for tomorrow night. No biggie, as they are predicting 3" this time around. I can live with that.

I've been taking a class on line from Quilt University. It is a beading class with Susan Brittingham. It was great fun and when I wasn't shoveling snow the past week, I tried to do some beading. It is tough on the eyes, so I could only do that an hour at a time. The pic is of a class sampler that I finished yesterday. The problem with this new skill is that it requires a "stash" of beads. I have enough beads now to cover a King-Sized bed quilt! (Can you imagine how heavy that would be?) So, you will be seeing more beads in my future art quilts.

I wish you and your loved ones a very Happy Valentine's Day.
