Old Friend

Spring is just around the corner (I hope), so it's time to change out my quilt that hangs in my living room. I found this one that I made about 15 years ago. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Do you recognize the Jinny Beyer border fabric?

It will work well during the season change from Winter to Spring. There is something about a Tumbling Block pattern that keeps my interest. I see something different every time I look at it. I can spend a lot of time staring at it. This pattern is called Tumbling Stars. I don't remember the designer's name. I still like optical illusion quilts. Hmmmmm, I'll have to check and see if I still have that pattern. It could look pretty good in some more modern fabrics. Back to the sewing studio.......
