Playing with Paint

Here are some of my latest class samples. I've having a lot of fun 'playing with paint". There are so many new ways to produce art quilts, I feel I've barely scratched the surface.

Can you see the nutcrackers and nut pics? Look closely.

This was made by heating 'magic' foam and pressing over jewelry spread out on a baking tray. Then you stamp it on fabric. I think it makes a wonderful background. Whatcha think?

I purchased this plastic eraser at "Five Below" (similar to Dollar Store) and carved it so that it became a stamp. I have great plans for this stamp along with the giraffe, rhino and kangaroo erasers that I purchased. Who knew playing with paint could be such fun?
