Rain, Rain, it's okay

I was able to complete the "Try This" challenge from my local guild today. It was a rainy day so a good one to get the sewing machine out. I incorporated a lesson I learned from J. Sassaman class (putting the fancy stitches to work) and used a Laura Murray stencil to put the flowers on the plain area and then a little Laura Cater-Woods inspiration for the machine quilted flowers. It's great to get those pieces off the design wall. I think all those classes are beginning to pay off. On to the next project.....
