Being my grandson’s Number 1 fan, I have been busy this spring adjusting my schedule to coincide with Baseball games and practices. Since he is on a travel team as well as a house league team, he seems to have a game or a practice every day of the week, including weekends. We are a family that sits down together at dinner time every night at 6:00 (I guess that is one routine that I inherited from my mom). To say that we have eaten more than our share of carry out and fast food is an understatement. We were also eating dinner anywhere between 4:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. The poor dog was even confused. I didn’t realize he was such a victim of habit, too!
Now that the regular season is over, I was looking forward to getting back into a routine. Huh? Routine? I don’t think so. Atleast, not yet! Andrew was selected to participate in an All-League baseball game this Saturday. He was also asked to play as a sub on another Travel Team on Sunday. Let the games continue……… normalcy will return someday!
