The book has been published. Donna M. Desoto has outdone herself. I went to Playgroup yesterday and she had the first copy of the book with her. I am so excited for her. This is a beautiful book. Not only are there quilts representing Flora, Fauna and Landscapes of our nation's Parks, but narrative from many of the Park Rangers who serve in these Parks. I can't wait to get my hands on my own copy (later this Spring). It's nice that it is being released in time for the 100th Anniversary of the US Park Service.
And guess whose quilt appears on the back cover. Donna insisted I be in this picture.
This is not the best picture, but you may be able to see my quilt better. I made it from a picture I took while hiking Angel's Landing trail in Zion National Park.
