It hardly seems it's been almost a month since I attended the Houston International Quilt Show.
Although I didn't take any classes, I did see many wonderful quilts and visited more vendor booths than I should have. I also got to see my Zion National Park quilt that was part of a special exhibit curated by Donna M. Desoto. OMG, the quilts were beautiful. I couldn't take any pictures because all of the quilts will be included in a book about the 100th Anniversary of the National Park Service that will be released in Spring 2016. It will be a wonderful book.
That trip took another item off my Bucket List. I hope if you ever get the opportunity to attend this event that you do it! Every quilter should do it at least once.
