Rainy Days and Unplanned Activities

Note: This is another posting that I created and couldn't post due to problems with new MS Edge browser. I had to go back and us Explorer to get this to work.  Anyone else having this problem with Blogger??

Okay, so it rained most of the week. Baseball practices were held indoors, the out-of-town weekend tournament was cancelled. There was lots of local flooding. What better then, to stay inside, turn on the final Nationals baseball games and work on unfinished projects. So I put the sleeve on my "Fly Me to the Moon" entry (due mid-October), cut some fabric for an ongoing black and white rainstick quilt and reviewed the You Tube Video about making fabric bowls.

I saw some beautiful fabric bowls that members of my Monday Playgroup made and I thought it would be a good way to help me put some of my stash to good use. I purchased cotton clothesline a few weeks ago and have been putting aside 3/4" strips from other projects I have been working on. Sooooo I got started making the first bowl. I was so happy with that I thought it would be good to make a 'travel' bowl to use for my knitting balls. Here are the results.
