Winter Getaway

Monday and Tuesday were school holidays so we decided to take a quick trip to the local (2 1/2 hours away) ski slope and stay for a couple of nights. We haven't skiied in 10 years, but our grandson is learning to snowboard. The weather was perfect, the slopes were uncrowded and the liftline was short. I worked on some knitting while the grandson spent time on the slope. One of his baseball team friends showed up in the afternoon so they had a good time challenging each other snowboarding down the hill. Those pictures are on my Facebook page.

 These pictures were taken on the grounds of the "The Hill" condominium, a short one-mile drive to the ski slope. It was sooooo quiet there. Enjoy the pictures.
