Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope everyone is enjoying their day of 'thanks'. The turkey is in the oven, the sweet potatoes are cooked, the stuffing is made and I'm ready to relax a little. I was going to make a pumpkin dessert, but a recent trip to the Amish Auction and bake sale made that unnecessary.

I've been knitting furiously to try and finish my first pair of socks. I accomplished that about a week ago. Since beginning that sock I was determined to find an easier to knit them other than using four double pointed needles. I found and took a "knitting socks using a circular needle" class at a local yarn shop. My last class was yesterday and, "ta-dah!" I finished one class sock. I'm almost done with the other. I'm finding sock knitting almost as addicting as quilting. Pictures will be coming soon. . . I promise!
