Doing the Happy Dance!

I know it is not a big thing to alot of you. I just finished my 2nd pair of knitted socks. The first pair didn't turn out the best, but if I wear them with my jeans maybe no one will notice all of my mistakes.

I was more than determined to finish those socks--mistakes and all. BTW,I used Size 2 Double pointed needles (4 of them!) and decided there MUST be a better way.

Then I took a class from a local (45 minute drive!!) yarn shop. The instructor was very knowledgeable and really helped me get the skills I needed to create a better pair of socks. She showed us how to use Circular needles and it went sooooo much faster.





So here is my 2nd pair of socks!

Yes, I know the stripes aren't alligned symetrically. I am okay with that. I'm the one who will be wearing them. I'm not sure if hand dyed yarn can be made so the stripes are symetrical. So in the meantime, I am doing the "happy dance" and so glad to have these completed.

Now I need to get back to my quilting!
