Falling Back on Track

Summer is almost gone and Fall is fast approaching. Seems like yesterday that I made my last post.....NOT!

Since my last post, I have been to the beach. We spent a week at Ocean City, MD, doing nothing.....Well almost nothing....that is my type of vacation....rest and relaxation. Now that school has started again, I hope to get back in the studio. I am taking an Art 101 class (again....I took this five years ago!) with Cyndi Souder. There is homework which requires creating art quilts that emphasize some aspect of design. I've also collaborated with a friend to make another "house" quilt. We should have that finished in time to donate to the local Senior Center Bazaar in mid-October. That was a good opportunity to sort through fabrics that I am no longer in love with and make something useful with them.

So as we approach the cooler season, I hope you are finding your artistic muse and creating great things.

my creativity has been waxing and waning. Lots to do and lots on my mind. I know it will stay for a while sometime. It's just a matter of when.
