Busy, busy, busy

I pulled out some family heirlooms to get in the mood for Thanksgiving Dinner. Do any of my sibling recognize these? The first is my attempt at drawing the teapot. I see I have lots to do before getting it right.
I plan to use these pictures for an upcoming on-line class. Hopefully, I'll be able to convert them to cloth by the time I finish.
Maureen and Pat, it turns out I DID have the creamer and sugar bowl after all.
Did anyone go and face the mob scenes at the malls on Friday? Not me, I was content to stay home and get some Christmas presents made (for Andrew's 10 teachers!).

Did anyone go out on Small Business Saturday to continue their shopping spree? Not me, I stayed home and trimmed bushes, raked, and bagged leaves and shrubbery. It was a gorgeous day for being outside. I have to admit I was a little jealous knowing my relatives were enjoying their Thanksgiving holiday at a Virginia State Park and I was home working. But atleast now my yard is ready for the Christmas decorations. The day ended with a nice dinner with some long-time bicycling friends. I am thankful for such a wonderful weekend.
