Artist Statement:
I immediately thought of a deck of cards when I heard the word “Suit”. It might have been because of the number of card games I was playing with my grandson while school was out this summer. Pieced shirt background, collaged suit fabric pieces for clothes, hand-drawn face and hands on suit fabric, beaded embellishments, and tie for binding.
