Andrew and I spent a couple of hours this afternoon painting fabric. Since we don't dye eggs anymore and it is Easter, I decided to try out a technique I've been wanting to try for a long time....Painting with Shaving cream. Results are okay for the first try and with the lessons that we learned, we should do a better job next time. Andrew came out to help me after I had completed one or two pieces and you can see him in action above. What is it about boys and the color black??? It was more fun than dyeing eggs since I will be putting the results in future art quilts. I hope everyone enjoyed this Easter Sunday.
