Summer Is Over......

........ School has begun, fall baseball season has started, quilt challenges are due. I turned in my Indefinite Divisibility Challenge quilt, "Wired on Caffeine", today. I added one fabric to the collection of black and white fabrics that I received. I used Dena Crain's darning technique to cut out and re-position the coffee mugs. There were some truly amazing quilts that came from that challenge and a group of gifted fabric artists in my "play group" . Jennifer is not sure what will happen to the quilts we made, but is hoping for something big. Here are my results:

I couldn't help myself, and I picked up another challenge, due in early 2015. The challenge is to use a page from the Fall Issue of Glamour magazine, be inspired by it, and create a specified size art quilt. Sorry, this challenge is only open to Monday Play Group members. I randomly opened the magazine and used the page that I opened to. Others were going through every page trying to decide the best one. I could spend a month doing that. I'll work with what I got and see what happens. I really like Play group as they keep coming up with these cool challenges. Now where did I put my National Park challenge information.....................
