Unseasonable Fall Temps

It's hard to believe it was just two weeks ago that we were enjoying 89 degree temps. Some friends and I went to the Sewing Expo at its new venue in Fredericksburg, Va. The new exhibit hall and vendor shopping area was very nice. I picked up some new tools, hot ribbon, leather thimble and paint sticks. Although the thimble was a bit pricey, it really is quite nice. It's hard for me to find that perfect 'thimble' (I have an allergy to nickel and can't use the standard thimble).

And what is a stop in Fredericksburg without a trip here?

 

 

BTW, temperature outside this morning is 38 degrees! Brrrrrrrrrr
