I took some time recently to refresh my skills for fusible applique. I'll be taking a class with Laura Wasilowski (http://laurawasilowski.com/index.html) in early May and that is what the class is about. I took a similar class with Fieida Anderson (http://www.friestyle.com/) a couple of years ago and purchased an art quilt kit from her. It is not only a beautiful pattern, but Frieda's hand-dyed fabric that came with it were luscious!
I have another one of Frieda's quilt kits that I want to start but I think a little bit of fusible applique goes a long way. I'll put that back on the shelf until I take Laura's class and maybe I'll pick up a few more tips for this process. It feels good to 'finish' something!

Ohhh I think I can remember the good feeling of a finish...but it has been awhile...LOL.
