Dorothy Radigan August 23, 1919 -- February 11, 2009
It was three years ago today that my mom died. I think about her everyday and miss her very much.
She was a devoted wife for 67 years before my father died. She was the mother to six kids, 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She taught me soooo much. Had it not been for her patience and perseverance, I would never have learned to sew, among many other things. She was very crafty. She was always making something...clothes for us girls, sweaters for her grandkids, not to mention the one year she crocheted 20 afghans--one for each child and grandchild. She was an amazing woman. She didn't graduate high school until she was in her 70s. She held her first job outside the home in her mid-50s. She was very active at church and supported many women both younger and older than her. She was an amazing woman...I miss her very much.

Kathy, what a beautiful way of remembering Mom. She was truly a woman of her times. Pat
