Busy, busy, busy

Baseball season is officially open and it is affecting all activity in my household. My grandson has 4-5 practices in addition to four games per week. I volunteered to keep score for both house and travel teams and let me tell you, it is NOT any easy job. I'm having to research a number of baseball terms and get definitions to make sure I correctly record Runs, hits, errors, etc. I'm drawing on my skills from 28 years ago when my son played Little League and I kept score. It was easier to do then.

I've been quilting a couple of donation quilts and until I get them completed, I can't focus on my art quilts. So little is getting done in the sewing studio.

Have you been watching those bald eagle nests??? I've been following two of them. This one is in Hampton, Va and the eaglets are about a month old.

This one is in Northeast Iowa and the first eaglet hatched Monday and the third one hatched Wednesday night. They are adorable. http://www.ustream.tv/decoraheagles

I have to warn you that watching these bald eagles is addictive. I've spent hours watching them.

Now, I need to get back to the sewing room before Spring Break arrives. There's lots to finish there. I hope you have a good weekend.
