In spite of the dreary weather the past couple of days, I ventured out for a short walk with the dog.
We had snow and ice yesterday--enough to close schools and let workers report late to work this morning. At 2:00 this afternoon, there were still remnants of our first storm of the season.
Temperatures are supposed to stay below freezing and there is talk of another storm headed our way tomorrow. Glad the freezer is full, we haven't lost power and we have a nice fire burning in the fireplace. Hope everyone survived the storm unscathed!
