I took a class a while back with Laura Wasilowski that involved drawing doodles and using them to design a small art quilt with her hand dyed fabrics. I finished the piecing, but never got around to the quilting and never thought to add more embellishments. Here are pics of the latest piece. I think it needs a few more flat rain drops, but that will have to wait until I can get back to the store. It's not the kind of art quilt I would ordinarily make, but it was fun to see it evolve from a doodle, to a piece of a leaf to a tree getting ready for Spring. . . .

Play Time
My Art Quilt Journey class homework this month involves digging up an unfinished project, add some embellishments and finish it!
