Seize the Day!

I made last minute plans to go for a bike ride with my sister and niece yesterday. We got a late start, but that was okay because the clouds moved in and kept the sun hidden for most of the day. We encountered a few rain showers, but my niece convinced us we should continue with our ride and go to Washington Harbor as we had planned. We stopped a few times and discussed whether to ride on or turn back and the youngest one kept insisting we move on. So we did. The picture is taken atop the pedestrian/bike way on the Woodrow Wilson Bridge. I've been wanting to ride across that bridge since the bikelane was opened over a year ago.

I had a great time although I'm a little sore. We rode 28 miles and I'm feeling every bit of it today. Thanks, Annette and Maureen. I had a good time.

P.S. I have some Aleve if you need some.
