It's the Week to Finish UFOs

I decided to devote this week to finish up some projects that were begun earlier this year. You might remember that I decided to accept Ellen's challenge to use her pictures to create a piece of art. I decided to use her sticky fingers method and here is my result. I call it Wagon of Flowers.


Then I worked on another Alz Quilt. As I was watching a Washington Nationals baseball game over the weekend, I took out the sketchbook and came up with this little Alzheimers quilt. I have many memories of seeing my mother enjoy a weekday afternoon baseball game as she sat at the ironing board catching up with the weekly ironing. My, she loved to watch those games. I'm sure it helped her get through the large basket of shirts waiting to be ironed.
